Green Drinks Denver + Tour of Groundwork Denver’s Greenhouse

“Never doubt a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

Join us again at Woods Boss Brewing for Green Drinks Denver July 18th, and head over to Groundwork Denver afterwards for a tour with the Denver chapter of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society. (RSVP for that event, and see the complete schedule here: https://www.meetup.com/Metro-Denver-CRES/events/262800778/)

Green Drinks is an event where professionals in various fields impacting or impacted by environmental and sustainability issues can get together and talk about some of the great work they are doing as well as opportunities to reduce our environmental impacts.

During the CRES/Groundwork tour we will learn about hydroponic cultivation and its environmental advantages. We will discuss food systems and the challenges with the current structure of production and distribution. Finally, we will learn how supporting local farmers can impact the environment in a positive way.
