Join MDCRES this February to hear David Kline discuss Citizens’ Climate Lobby and its policy, including the basics of a carbon fee and dividend proposal.
The talk will also address the challenge of speaking about the science and impacts of climate change to audiences who are resistant to climate change action, often because they are convinced it is not a threat. CCL believes that one of its strengths is a non-partisan approach, where constructive and non-polarizing strategies are applied to a politically polarizing issue. Interactive exercises will allow audience members to practice some of the suggested approaches.
About the speaker:
David Kline is a retired energy policy analyst who now spends much of his time as a volunteer citizen lobbyist with Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
