40 Years of Leading the Way – Doing Business Sustainably
Presented by Sustainability Program Manager Frank Rukavina
Join NREL’s Frank Rukavina for a “virtual tour” of NREL’s sustainable living laboratory.
Along with four decades of advanced energy research, NREL is walking the talk by achieving sustainability goals that are making big impacts and setting a strong example nationally and internationally.
Learn how the Laboratory minimizes use of resources (energy, materials, and water) while receiving the maximum value from those resources – along with balancing environmental, economic and human impacts.
As a sustainable organization, NREL manages economic viability, environmental stewardship and public responsibility. Rukavina will provide an overview of NREL’s sustainable campus development strategy
Wednesday, April 19
Noon – 1 p.m. in the Education Center
