We’ll be joined by Rebecca Langton of AES Distributed Energy who will discuss utility scale renewable energy plus battery storage systems. AES Distributed Energy has worked on some of the largest battery systems in the US. More details to come. The presentation will focus on solar + storage system design, benefits, case studies, and industry trends.
The presentation will be held at Odell Brewing Company’s taproom at 800 E. Lincoln Avenue in Fort Collins. Doors open at 7 pm with presentation commencing at 7:30 and running through 8:30 pm.

About our speaker:
Rebecca Langton entered the solar energy industry in 2010 when she joined a rooftop installation and distribution firm located in New Mexico. Previously, Ms. Langton was part of the team at Clean Energy Collective, a solar firm that pioneered the community solar model, working to carve out new markets and partnerships for the advancement of community solar programs. While there, she worked with the team that led the creation of the Community Solar Hub, a platform created in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative designed to advance the adoption of community solar programs nationwide. At AES Distributed Energy, Ms. Langton leads utility engagement efforts and industry partnership programs as a member of the Business Development team. She also volunteers as a Board member for the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (COSEIA).
