NCRES Speakers Series: Energy Efficiency 101

We’ll have a residential energy efficiency overview from Greg Fox of Efficiency Matters.   The focus will be on understanding the basics of home energy performance and ways consumers can improve their energy efficiency through basic and more in-depth energy retrofitting.

Efficiency Matters, LLC. is a local building performance company whose focus is on holistic, whole home retrofits focused on energy efficiency, and the health and comfort of your home. Efficiency Matters has been in business in Fort Collins since 2009, and in that time, they have become the largest contracting company involved in the Efficiency Works program. They employ industry “best practices” to ensure that each of the homes that we work has the smallest energy intensity (that’s energy use per square foot) as possible.

Greg Fox has been involved with residential construction and green building for the last 10 years. His passion is creating ideal situations for homeowners so they can safely and comfortably enjoy their time spent at home. This is important since purchasing a home is on average the largest investment you will make in your lifetime.

In his spare time he enjoys fishing, skiing, working on his own home, and in general, enjoying  what Colorado has to offer.
