NCRES Speakers Series: Carbon Fee & Dividend System to Address Climate Change

We’ll be joined by Geoffrey DeSena of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) who will discuss CCL’s carbon fee and dividend mechanism to address climate change.

Carbon Fee and Dividend (CF&D) is a national, revenue-neutral system that would place a predictable, steadily rising price on carbon, with all fees collected minus administrative costs returned to households as a monthly energy dividend.

CCL is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change.  Our consistently respectful, non-partisan approach to climate education is designed to create a broad, sustainable foundation for climate action across all geographic regions and political inclinations.

The presentation will be held at Odell Brewing Company’s taproom at 800 E. Lincoln Avenue in Fort Collins.  Doors open at 7 pm with presentation commencing at 7:30 and running through 8:30 pm.

There is a $5.00 entry fee for non-members but the event is Free for CRES Members (includes one complimentary beverage).
