Thursday, Sept 22nd, 7pm

Speaking on a talk show after the release of “An Inconvenient Truth” Al Gore committed himself, perhaps imprudently, to train large numbers of climate activists –  which is how the Climate Reality Project  got started.

We’ll hear from Maggie Fox who headed the project for four years on how they turned regular people all over the globe into competent advocates for climate action. She’ll talk about lessons learned, and will delve into the implications for the renewable energy industry in the 2016 elections.

Maggie Fox is past National President of America Votes, and the former Deputy Executive Director of the Sierra Club. With over 30 years experience working for progressive change, she is a veteran of numerous political, environmental and national issue campaigns. She shares a love of climbing and the outdoors with her husband Mark Udall who served in both the US House and Senate with an impressive record on the environment and renewable energy.
