How & Why: Getting Our Community to 100%

Join us for a Panel Discussion on Local Efforts to Transition to Renewable Electricity by 2030. We’ll have Anthony J. Marchese, Phd, of the CSU College of Engineering leading a moderated discussion with our panelists:

Wade Troxel, Mayor, City of Fort Collins
Corey Odell, Sustainability Coordinator, Odell Brewing Company
Jason Frisbee, CEO, Platte River Power Authority
Scott Denning, Phd, CSU Department of Atmospheric Sciences

The discussion will address the urgency of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change and provide a status update on Fort Collins and PRPA’s 100% Renewable Electricity initiatives, give the perspective of a local business with strong sustainability goals, and engage members of the business and broader community in a discussion of balancing these goals while maintaining reliability and affordability.
