Decarbonizing Denver: Climate Action at the Dept. of Public Health & Environment

Elizabeth Babcock, the Manager of Denver’s Climate Action Team, and Jonathan Rogers, Denver’s Renewable Energy Specialist, will be joining us to talk about Denver’s decarbonization efforts.

The Climate Action Team is leading Denver’s efforts to reduce GHG emissions 80 percent below 2005 levels by 2050. Come learn about the City’s strategies to optimize energy efficiency in buildings, decarbonize the electric grid, enable next-generation mobility, improve waste management, and promote sustainability throughout our businesses and neighborhoods.

The meeting format will be as follows:
– 6:30-7:00 pm – Networking and Happy Hour at Serendipity Bar (in the lobby)
– 7:00-7:15 pm – Announcements
– 7:15-8:15 pm – Presentation and Q&A

This meeting is free for CRES members ($30 introductory membership), with a $10 suggested donation from non-members
