Iron Edison and Elithion are excited to share the details on their alternative energy storage systems: long-lasting Nickel Iron batteries as well as Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries assembled in Lakewood using Elithion’s Battery Management Systems from Boulder. This presentation will discuss various battery applications and compare complete solar + battery system designs. It will also touch on one of Iron Edison’s latest pilot projects with Xcel Energy in a joint effort to demonstrate the advantages of incorporating more energy storage into our utility grid.
