This presentation provides an overview of the Paris Climate Agreement and the Clean Power Plan. It will describe the process under which each was created and discuss the subsequent events that have impacted their continued viability. It will also analyze what impacts these developments could have on the country, states, municipalities, and the renewable energy industry.
The speaker, Roddy Stieger, is a commercial attorney based in Denver. Roddy assists businesses with the negotiation and drafting of various types of contractual agreements and advises clients about their global business, regulatory, and liability risks. He routinely works with businesses across several different industries, including: energy, software, IT, aerospace and defense, and construction. Roddy avidly monitors global issues relevant to the renewable energy sector.
