Moving Forward: Beyond Paris

Feeling discouraged by the recent federal actions on climate change? Join us to learn what it really means for the U.S. to pull out of the Paris Accord and what the Federal Government is doing about it.

We are excited to announce that we are hosting Congresswoman Diana DeGette on August 21st at the Alliance Center. Congresswoman DeGette will moderate a panel discussion focusing on federal and local climate action as it relates to the U.S. Climate Alliance. Additionally, we will explore how other states and countries are working to ensure that greenhouse gas reduction goals are met, and what you can do to get involved.

Don’t let the president’s action dampen your spirit and our collective progress! Together we can ensure the U.S. meets our reduction goals by staying informed and engaging in local action

Moderated by:

Congresswoman Diana DeGette — Colorado’s First District (

Angie Fyfe — Executive Director, ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability USA (
