William Becker directs the Presidential Climate Action Project which develops ideas for the federal response to climate change. Bill started as a 19-year-old Army combat correspondent in the Vietnam War. He served under three Presidents as a senior official at the U.S. Department of Energy , focussing on energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable development and green recovery for communities devastated by weather disasters. Among his many books is “The 100-Day Action Plan to Save the Planet”.
He lives in Golden, Colorado.
