sustainable gardening, to
passive solar design and active
solar installations, electric
vehicles and more.

On Thursday,
September 27th, at 7 p.m. at 3245 Eliot
Street in Denver, CRES hosts an informative
and fun session entitled “Going
Green Without Breaking the Bank: Options in
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.”
Your tour ticket gets you in for free!
Whether you buy your ticket ahead of time
or the day of the tour, you’ll want to check
in at Arapahoe Community College (ACC), 5900
S. Santa Fe Drive in Littleton and pick up
your guide map and last minute information.
Explore a plethora of sponsor exhibits on
solar hot water, solar photovoltaics, energy
efficiency and more from Namaste, Solar
City, REC Solar, and more. During the free
educational and interactive seminars and
workshops throughout the day, learn about
how to get started in solar, weatherproofing
your home, and find out about the energy
coursework offered at ACC.
Homes are open to tour participants from
9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, September
29th. The self-paced tour gives participants
the ability to start and stop where and when
they choose.
Cost: $10 for
non-members, $5 for CRES members and
students with ID.
