Colo. High Performance Homes 100 Wants 60% of Market
June 27, 2006
The Colorado High Performance Homes (HPH) 100
initiative has set a goal for 60% of new homes built in Colorado to
meet the new Energy Star standards by 2010. HPH-100 is a coalition
of homebuilders, lenders, and professionals in the building trades
that have set a goal to fundamentally transform the market for
energy efficient homes in Colorado. Earlier this month, HPH-100
published a report on how it plans to achieve this market goal:

The coalition is led by E-Star Colorado in downtown
Denver. It grew out of a series of meetings over the last several
years that was led by the Fort Collins New Home Stakeholder Group.
